  I liked how close everything was to this hotel. There are a lot of restaurants, stores, and 7-11 and Family Mart, which is a must if travelling in Japan. The room had a decent amount of floor space in the living space; much more than other hotel rooms of similar size. The hotel is very well located, some minutes away from Shibuya station (which is better than near a bigger station, because Shibuya is very practical). Staff spoke some english but I get the impression this hotel is more oriented towards local or business travel.   I've spent 8 nights at this wonderful ryokan, with my daugther and a friend of her (both teenagers) and... we really liked everything! Our room was large, comfortable, and full of light. Large futons, nice pillows, heavy curtains to block the light from entering the sleeping room, made us sleep very well. Close to the Asakusa Gate and temple and there are many small shops and restaurants close by. For Tokyo staying in Tokyo as a family of 4 we had plenty of space in a traditional Japanese room. I would stay again without hesitation.
