  As soon as I stepped into the Hotel I was amazed by the decor and traditional interior design. A staff member said I couldn't check in before 3pm (it was 12.30pm) but he said I could leave my bag there. So I left the building and went for my excursion to the Shirakawa-Go Unesco Village and came back around 7pm and he kindly checked me in. Awesome ... wat mensen zeggen » stay. The private onsen was incredible and clean. WOW I will be back - I really like the onsen in Takayama Ouan. They have 3 private onsen to choose. So if you don't want to go to public onsen they've other option. The breakfast is great and a lot of choices. My family really enjoyed the breakfast. Location is good also close to the train station. You can just walked for 5 minutes to the hotel from the station.

  The room was a good size for the 2 of us.The bed was comfortable and had nice room controls for the lights on the headboard. I wanted to try out the sauna/spa which sounded intriguing with the aromatherapy mist room, however it was only open in the evenings. Our room rate included breakfast and it was much better than I expected. It included a wide variety of japanese breakfas - Great location stones throw from station. Good breakfast included. Comfortable room , long bath. Takayama, beautiful walks down old streets. Recommend the Heritage houses and pathway walk that takes you rounds the back of town past many small shrines ans along to the park.nice shops to buy gifts.taste of traditional Japan.

  Our room was upgraded to a spacious semi-suite, with a full sofa set and two semi-double beds. That's a big plus. The room was not brand new, but it was nice and super clean. The hotel staff even took us to the room after check-in and explained to us the onsen pools available at the hotel. Onsen was really great at the hotel; relatively big pools,... wat mensen zeggen » not at all crowded when we were there. My wife loved it and entered it three times during our two-night stay. Very soothing. Complimentary Japanese t - The room was really nice, a little old fashioned, but was more than adequate. We had a view of the mountains and loads of greenery. I would have to say that the best part of the hotel, would be their Onsen. The onsen is located inside the hotel, it had an indoor and outdoor onsen, the Onsen was extremely clean and well stocked. The hotel also provided a shuttle bus service to and fro from the hotel, morning market and train station. It was really convenient. The staff were all incredibly friend
