  we are giving full marks to the hotel. the staffs, the place, the food. everything is nearly perfect . just want to add if they could provide afternoon snacks in the mid food in the relaxing firing place would be excellent. The extreme relax in the outdoor onsen is the heaven. we are for use would come back . - Japanese feel..building style

  Amazing place! Excellent closeup view of the lake at an affordable price with reasonablr comfort. Rooms spacious and extremely clean. Excellent staff (i think its family owned and we had asked about good hiking routes. the lady owner speaks excellent english and offered to show us the way by car to our endpoint gor us to park our car, and then dro... wat mensen zeggen » pped us off at the starting point! Excellent onsen! With both open air and indoors. Free parking. Free and strong wifi - It is a japanese ryokan, guest were mostly japanese. The facilty is a bit old but they have free onsen pools indoor and out door 24 hours! It was very near to attractions and they have a well stock pub with sake and whiskies...friendly staff but few spoke english...but it was not a problem as they were so friendly and helpful.

  Well located in the center of a small town. Quite a personalized hotel with friendly service. Front desk staff spoke good English and gave good tourist advice. The (Japanese-style) room and the Spa were clean and the (Japanese) buffet breakfast was great.
