  I lOVED this guest house, the owners and their daughter were so friendly and warn I ended up extending my stay for another night just because they made me feel so comfortable and relaxed. There was fully equiped kitchens just outside the rooms which was a pleasant surprise. Alternatively there was a couple of restaurants and a great supermarket within 3-5mins walk from the ryokan. The - We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this ryokan. The owners are friendly and accommodating, and it really helped to have the maps listing favorite places to eat and things to do. The location is good if you want to see the castle, and take in an onsen at Asama. The Inn was very clean, and our room was very comfortable. Our 8 year old loved sleeping on the futon in our traditional room, and the ofuro was a great cultural experience. Don't miss the delicious breakfast for a true taste of Japan

  The staff couldn't have been friendlier. This Ryokan is a great authentic experience that I would highly recommend to anyone. It is reasonably priced as Ryokans go and feels like a little piece of Japenese luxury. The location is slightly out of town, but the Staff will happily taxi you about, to and from the train station, and drop you at the sig... wat mensen zeggen » hts if required. Don't miss out on Dinner here either. A great way to try some foods you may not have got around to ordering from a menu. - We loved the fact that it was a purely traditional ryokan. A beautiful room and a lovely young woman at reception who spoke English.
