  This is my favorite hotel so far during our trip in Japan. This is a lodge in the mountains, so don't expect luxury (we had shared bathrooms) or a traditional japanese ryokan-like hotel. That said, the lodge was clean and the beds were comfortable. What made this place special was the cozy atmosphere and beautiful location in the mountains.
