  Great Location! Superb staff! Clean! Perfect!!!! What a beautiful surprise when we arrived at the hostel. It was situated in the heart of Tokyo, walking distance to most of the town's attractions. A fun place, that offers the ultimate in recreation and relaxation. - Considering we were on a 3 week trip to Japan and that we visited many hotels and hostels during its span, I have to say that Tokyo Ueno Youth Hostel had the friendliest and most helpful staff we have come across. The general attitude of the employees towards the guests surpassed all of our expectations.   Friendly staff, they can speak fluent English. There are staff from worldwide too! The cafe ambiance is very good and relaxing. I was given the complimentary of upgrade from 4-pax dorm to single room due to hotel overbooked. The facilities like toilet, shower room are clean. Just 5 minutes walking distance from the Jimbocho railway station. I feel... wat mensen zeggen » safe even on the way back alone to hotel during night time. - 2 min walk from Jimbocho subway station and 10 min from Suidobashi JR station in one direction or Imperial Palace in another. Great position. Staff is fluent in English and always ready to help with any question. Room was small, but clean and comfortable. Same about shared showers. Atmosphere in Sakura hotel is really friendly, good for individual trip.

  The staff is helpful and they speak English very well. I checked-in late at night (around 10.30 pm) but they have midnight staff ready waiting for me. It's awesome. The place is small but very neat and very clean. There are free wi-fi on each floor and the signal strength is good. I share the room with 3 other girls. What's so great is that we ha... wat mensen zeggen » ve our own bathroom with shampoo, rinse, body wash that we can use for free. There are also unlimited hot water for showering. - This cute little place made my first stay in Tokyo so comfortable and impressive. The room was clean and i really love the bed and blanket...so comfy!! The staffs were also very nice and helpful. Very good location just about 3-5 minutes from metro. Wonderful^^

  Khaosan World Ryokan has many enjoyable features. The decor is a mix of vestiges of the former hotel and a contemporary version of the traditional Japanese tatami interior. The staff members were very welcoming and attentive. There is a kitchen and the hostel is near several Asakusa stations (figuring out which station was a little tricky). The premises are really convenient and the location is just perfect, we would definitely go back there again next time we come to Tokyo and recommend the place.

  Location was great, rooms ,kitchen bathrooms clean. Lost my wallet on the train from Osaka to Tokyo. They let me check in, stay the night & gave me a map of where to get my money. Yes if your a taller person you will find the showers a little low.   Everything about the trip was incredible. The staff were really friendly and were able to help me when I asked them something. I asked them something as weird as to where to find a poster tube so I could take a painting back home safely, and they were able to tell me a shop that sold exactly what I was looking for. 95% of the guests there were fri... wat mensen zeggen » endly, there were a few people that did not really care for Japan and used it as a stopover, and that showed in their attitude. I stayed in the capsu - Location was easy to find and front of hostel stands out so you cant miss it. Greeted by very friendly staff, you have to take shoes off at entrance and slippers provided (though some did have a smelly feet odour going on!). Our twin room had a bunk bed which was very large compared to other hostels. Saying that, the room was very small in general. Small desk and window, hardly any room for storage/baggage. Great kitchen and communal area with free tea/coffee. Really friendly, welcoming feel to
