  I came to this hotel to experience a japanesse capsuelhotel, so I wasn't expecting a lot of comfort. And it was defenetely a great experinece. Also the hotel is very central and open all night. I liked the bathroom area in the basement - First time in capsule hotel, better than expected. Clean and friendly staff. Value for money.

  Ace Inn Shinjuku is perfect if you're a foreign solo traveller. There are many other foreign guests and the 9th floor is good to socialise on.   This will probably be the first and last time i rate a hotel a 10, but if any hotel deserves it, it's this. I stayed here for 8 nights, left my backpack in the reception for that entire time and kept some clothes in a smaller bag they let me keep in the "cabin". Location is decent, close to a metro station and the JR akihabara station. Staff was e... wat mensen zeggen » xtremely nice and helpful during my entire stay here. The cleanliness matches that of the most prestigious private hospitals or something. I understan - Everything was simple from the very start; front desk speaks good enough english to get me checked in and explain the rules, the sleeping rooms are quiet, and everything is very clean and new looking. Loved the fresh lounge clothes that were laid out anew every day. Didn't get a chance to use the shared bath, but shower facilities clean and efficient. As a budget traveler I stayed here as a novelty, but I could honestly recommend it to solo traveler in Tokyo for a few days.

  Everything about the trip was incredible. The staff were really friendly and were able to help me when I asked them something. I asked them something as weird as to where to find a poster tube so I could take a painting back home safely, and they were able to tell me a shop that sold exactly what I was looking for. 95% of the guests there were fri... wat mensen zeggen » endly, there were a few people that did not really care for Japan and used it as a stopover, and that showed in their attitude. I stayed in the capsu - Location was easy to find and front of hostel stands out so you cant miss it. Greeted by very friendly staff, you have to take shoes off at entrance and slippers provided (though some did have a smelly feet odour going on!). Our twin room had a bunk bed which was very large compared to other hostels. Saying that, the room was very small in general. Small desk and window, hardly any room for storage/baggage. Great kitchen and communal area with free tea/coffee. Really friendly, welcoming feel to
