  Ace Inn Shinjuku is perfect if you're a foreign solo traveller. There are many other foreign guests and the 9th floor is good to socialise on. This is one of the better hostels I have stayed at and the staff are really friendly an helpful and speak really good English, I highly recommend it! - I realy liked the possibilitiy to meet international ... wat mensen zeggen » travellers in the common rooms. That was exactly what I searched by staying in this kind of accamodation. I immediately found a group of people to hang out with the evening an do japanese style karaoke!
