Almost a boutique/design hotel, without the common price tag. Very
friendly owners who speak more than adequate English. A lot of
extra's, some for free, some for an unbelievable low price, and
offered in funny but very adequate ways :-) Best futons I have ever
engaged. Good internet connections, also computers available for free in
a magnificent tv room.

hotel we stayed at. Facility was best during our 10-day trip,. Rooms
were spacious, very comfortable, always clean, immaculate, and even had
a dresser!. Centrally located in Kumamoto with bus stop, street cars
very accessible. Eating establishments abound in the nearby arcades.

Clean and comfortable hotel. We booked a non smoking room. When we arrived in the room it was smelting smoke. We got a new room right away which was a lot better. Although in Japan it seems difficult to get a really non smoking room. Especially in hotels which exist a little longer. However this hotel is perfect base for exploring Kumamoto and surrounding.

Very comfortable, clean and modern room. Easy to find. Great quality (comparable to "top" brands I've stayed in), but very reasonable price. Would definitely recommend this hotel, and others in the chain could be a good option when I travel elsewhere.

Such a wonderful hotel, the best hotel in Japan for Service with such friendly staff. Kumamoto was a great place to stay with the hotel being right next to the station. We would have loved to stay an extra night as there is plenty to do in this lovely castle city. Rooms really comfortable and spacious. We will stay here again.

Hotel is located next to JR station. It is convenience to take JR or trams to other places for sightseeing. Staff is very helpful even though they can't speak very well english. I asked for the information how to go to see dolphin, she doesn't know much but still trying to find out for me. Finally I give up as there are a lot of guests waiting for

Position of the Hotel
just next to the station, and with a cable car stop right in front of the door, then, both facilities are convenient to either help you organize excursion outside of the city limit from the station, or visit the town and have late evenings in the city.

a very comfortable, reasonally priced, great location hotel. service was great and enjoy the morning breakfast they provided for free. thought that more than i expected and the selections were delicious.
followed that stay with a stay at nagano toyoko-in eika-mae. enjoyed both stays and look forward on next trip to japan to stay in toyoko-inns. -

The hotel is positioned near the JR Station, close to the tram stop. The main restaurants around are located at the last floor of the train station.
The room was reasonably spacious, considering the Japanese standards, perfectly clean and quiet.
The staff knows some English, just enough to manage the deal. Free Japanese breakfast. Recommended.
