  The location was excellent as we're the staff who were very helpful when I mistakenly threw some travel documentation into the hotel rubbish. They were genuinely happy when it was found. The buffet breakfast was very good. - Smile Hotel is located just opposite the JR station, bus & tram hub.   There is a bus stop right outside the hotel which have bus going to the hakodate ropeway at a sceduled timing. The front desk staff - a lady was very helpful and flexible. My friend and I were early (by abt an hr) and she gave us a room even though check in is 3pm onwards. Just walk about 2 minutes from JR Station to get there and from there it takes just a minute to the Morning Market. The room is quite old but very neat and tidy. They have a big flat screen TV, green tea, hair dryer, Yukata and Obi set for changing clothes. The staff is very nice although we get here a bit late (8pm). Morerover, they can speak english quite well. I recommend it if you want some place which is good and has reasonable pr

  it's very value for money and charming for its family run business kinda feeling. the owner is very kind and can speak english pretty well. he even let us hang in the lobby because we needed to catch the overnight bus to Saporo. Most of the shop/restaurant closed at 10pm but our bus boarded at 11.30pm so we had no where to go and this really save ... wat mensen zeggen » our life.
