  I choose Osaka as lodge for my trip to Kobe/Nara/Tokyo. As such I intend to select hotel near shin osaka while this hotel attracted me by its compelling price. Single non smoking room only cost less than Yen3700/night (I.E. hk$300), which is even cheaper than most of capsule hotels in downtown of Osaka. Although location is a bit far away downtown... wat mensen zeggen » , but it's only 2min walk from metro station, which easily connect to Shin Osaka (less than 10min door to door), Namba central/Umeda (less than 20min) - The location is not too far from the subway station 東三國. The original standard room we booked was too small for two of us. Luckily, there is a bigger room avaialabe and the front desk lady was willing to change us to a bigger room with additional fee. The wifi is receivable in the room. There is not much shopping around the hotel. This area is more for local resident area.

  -Hotel is in the station, after you found it it's very very close to shinkansen station and some meter more from JR station. -you are 5 minute train from Osaka station (night life and lots of restaurants) and 30 minutes from Kyoto. -Room was very clean and not tiny: the walls of bathroom made of glass made the room even bigger (but there are tents... wat mensen zeggen » so you can close them if you want) -Great view from 17th floor, very nice huge window alongside the bed -bed was 1 1/2 so big and comfortable (single - Fantastic position inside Shin Osaka station. Immaculately clean, great staff, room was compact but had every convenience you would need. Definitely would stay here again.   Very close to the Shin Osaka station (east gate). The staff is nice and speaks english. Free wifi is in the recepction, there is a place to sit down and drink free juices or coffe in the morning, eat breakfast. Room was cleaned every day - celan sheets and towels. I made a compliment on Koinobori attached at the entry door and one of the staff member offered us the material to assemble our own and it was very nice. The hotel is very close to the Shin osaka station where the Shinkansen to Kyoto stops.

  This was our first stop after the flight. Very good value for money, smallish rooms but very, very comfortable with excellent bathroom. So close to the (SHIN-Osaka not Osaka r/stn - note this) railway station was nice. Food options nearby. The staff were excellent (found our daypack for us). Definately recommended. (motel style, not a lot of... wat mensen zeggen » room if you want to settle in with food etc) - Location is fantastic, just opposite the East exit of Shin-Osaka Station. There is elevator for those carrying heavy luggage. Also, can take shinkansen or bullet train from Shin-Osaka Station. Nearby got 24hr restaurant. One of the staff can speak fluent English and provide very detail information for us. Others can speak simple English.

  Hotel Consort located near to Noshikajima-minamigate subway station(M14). It is just located opposite the 'exit 2' of this subway station (less than 2 minutes walk). We purchased 'Haruka(return) + Icoca' package and took Haruku raiway from Kansai Airport and stop at Shin-Osaka Station. From there we change to subway line by using Icoca card and to... wat mensen zeggen » ok subway(Minosuji line) at Shin-Osaka Subway Station(M13) to Noshikajima-minamigate subway station(M14). If you are carrying luggage, i suggested not - The location of the hotel is great - only one stop away from Shin-Osaka station. There's great little restaurants just outside the hotel if you're keen for a cheap and tasty meal. The room is very budget- friendly. It has everything you need and is very clean. I felt safe here. I would recommend anyone on a budget or anyone needing last minute accommodation to stay here.

  It is 10 min walk from both Osaka and Umeda stations or 3 min from the nearest underground. Room service was excellent - everything was spotless. All the reception staff spoke English with sufficient fluency. As my title states, it is near the Catholic church which also has Sunday masses in English. There are a few small food stores around as well... wat mensen zeggen » . We had a room on the top floor overlooking Umeda Train Station. Every evening the city would lit up in spectacular fashion. Overall great experience - For the price the room was excellent. Though small like most hotels in Japan, it is slightly larger than the others we had stayed in ells where and it was very comfortable and clean. Staff were very helpful and polite.
