  We loved staying at the Gardenia! The staff is absolutely wonderful! They e-mailed us before our arrival to offer any help we might need, so we wrote for directions from the train station, as we would arrive late. They sent complete info – bus numbers, times... They go the extra mile to help with a smile on their face. One even drove us to the nearby shopping centre as we are not keen on driving. The shopping centre is an easy (for some) 5 min drive away and the bus to the arena (city centre) is a 2 min walk with buses leaving every 15 mins and running late into the night.   Our room in the spa annex of the hotel was wonderful. On the top floor with goregous beams and fantastic decor. The staff were all really helpful and friednly. Breakfast was served downstairs in the main hotel and was very nice. The location is great - a few minutes walk from the fantastic Piazza Bra and the Arena. It's connected to the Verona town center by a 5km two-lane straight road. 25 km to the Garda lake (south-east end). - The restaurant facilities were far better than most Ibis hotels and the room was a little bigger than expected.

Our room was very spacious and attractive, and the rooftop patio provided a wonderful view of Verona.
