A warm welcome from Arrigo started our wonderful 4 day Venice experience! Do take notice of his recommendations! We stayed in a 2 bed apartment very close to bus and train station. Apartment was very clean, spacious and kithcen had everything you needed for either a quick breakfast or dinner. Coop (supermarket) just around the corner (5 mins walk) or a smaller corner shop 2 mins away.

Its entrance is located on a small side street and you walk through the ground floor of the building (past the canal boat entrance) to get to the rooms. It felt like we were staying in a Venice residence instead of a hotel.

Locanda Ca Del Console is in a very good location between the Rialto Bridge and St. Mark's Square. It isn't easy to find, but use the directions on the website along with a map and you'll figure it out eventually. The staff is very friendly, which is a big plus. We made the reservation at the last minute so we didn't have many choices. The room was big. The decor was a little strange. The breakfast was fine. Did I mention the staff is very friendly? That was the biggest plus.

Rooms were lovely.Ours was small but had view of canal while our friends had a huge room to make up for lack of view, I reckon! Personally, I loved room with a view. The staff could not do enough for us and treated us like silk worms. Nothing was a problem. Directions, hints, tips and must see all explained thoroughly. I was nervous about getting from the airport on our own, but the directions were very clear and the hotel easy to find. This B&B is located very closely to the train station (5 min. walking) and bus station (10 min. walking). Also the water taxi stop Riva di Biasio is only 2 min. walking distance. The couple Sergio and Marcella are very nice, friendly and accommodating. Breakfast is plentiful and delicious, prepared and served by Marcella in their little tiny kitchen.
