-True Venice experience! The hotel is located on one of the small canals, so finding the hotel was an adventour in itself. Its entrance is located on a small side street and you walk through the ground floor of the building (past the canal boat entrance) to get to the rooms. It felt like we were staying in a Venice residence instead of a hotel.

Locanda Ca Del Console is in a very good location between the Rialto Bridge and St. Mark's Square. It isn't easy to find, but use the directions on the website along with a map and you'll figure it out eventually. The staff is very friendly, which is a big plus. We made the reservation at the last minute so we didn't have many choices. The room was big. The decor was a little strange. The breakfast was fine. Did I mention the staff is very friendly? That was the biggest plus.

Location - perfect (near San Marco square, but on the small quiet street).
Room - clean and cozy.
Bathroom - big, light and clean, clean and clean (hairdryer, toiletries, towels are included).
Breakfast - very good (choice of yoghurts, meat, cheese, bread, jam, juice, coffee, tea, etc.)
Owner - intelligent, polite and friendly person with great sense of humor.
All together this will make your stay in this hotel perfect.

I picked this place because it had a backyard where you are served your breakfast's and you can just sit out their after a full day of walking! Our room was on the main floor, which we were next to the canal. It was a great location to walking to every where. The Casino was very close, lots of restaurants and shopping. The B&B was 5 minutes walk from Piazza San Marco. The location of B&B was in a quiet place. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. the room price was justifiable. Annalisa was very helpful with tips to visit places, restaurants etc. I would go again to the same B&B if I visit Venice in future.

Amadeus was amazingly located, roughly half way between the Rialto Bridge and San Marco Square. It is quite difficult to find initially (there's a separate Hotel Amadeus); you need to head to Saint Maria Formosa square. The staff were really friendly and the breakfast was good. They also let you leave your luggage once you check out and give you a spare key.
