  When looking for a hotel in Tropea, I selected the hotel with as few as possible negative remarks. We had planned a week of relaxing in Calabria to recover from a very stressful period at work, so we really wanted a 'safe haven' where there would be no annoyances and disturbances. This B&B turned out to be perfect for that: a nice, clean room,... wat mensen zeggen » very friendly staff who were very helpful when we asked for information about excursions, a good shower with two shower heads (normal and 'rain showe - Beautiful building - other than Santa Maria dell'Isola, I think this was the nicest building in town. Lovely the way it is lit up at night. The breakfast was outstanding - offering all kinds of local foods I wanted to try (mozzarella di bufalo, black olives, sundried tomatoes in olive oil and many more), plus bread meat, cheese, variety of juices etc. all set in a lovely outdoor garden. Room was a bit small but decent.

  Staff was amazing. We really felt treated as part of the family yet having privacy. Very nice breakfast with bellissimo cappuccino. It was ideally located just off the beach. Very comfortable bed. Good water pressure of the shower. Beautiful bedroom with balcony overlooking the garden. For us it was a perfect vacation. - Staff was awesome!   The breakfast here is served on a terrace with lovely view and the buffet offered the most variety of absolutely delicious dishes I have ever experienced. Our room was on the 4th floor and basically in the attic with beams that make bumping your head a good possibility. Our bath was lovely and well lit, but our friends' shower en - I loved the staff, all sweet and helpful women, especially Francisca, Valentina, Silvana and Francesca. The rooftop terrace is a dream, sparrows circling in the sky, views of the ocean, a place to read and think and write and they serve a delicious breakfast there in the mornings -- the best I had in Italy. THe location is excellent for walking thru the town or down to the sea.

  Fantastic B&B. Roberto and his wife are very friendly. They couldn't have helped us more and drove us and our luggage to and from the car park we left our hire car. The roof terrace is a huge plus and gives great views of the town, the sea and the coast including Stromboli volcano when it is clear enough. breakfsating on the terrace was a gr... wat mensen zeggen » eat way so start the day. Breaskfast itsef was delicious and the ladies who serve it friendly and helpful. This was our second visit and we were the - Everything about this hotel is top notch. Room is bright, spacious, clean and very charming. The view from the terrace where breakfast and dinner (apperitivo) are held is gorgeous, aspecially in the evening. Breakfast and apperitivo are very tasty, with fresh local food. Plus it gave us a chance to chat with other guests all we want. The last but not the least is the owner, Roberto. His welkomming, attentive and very friendly. He actually cares about his guests. We've enjoyed our stay.

  Prima hotel voor zonvakantie in het prachtige oude stadje Tropea. Schone kamers en er is gratis Wifi! Net zwembad met ligstoelen en parasol waar je niet hoeft te handdoekje leggen.De drankjes zijn voor Nederlandse begrippen prettig geprijsd (heerlijke verse jus d'orange). In het stadje zijn veel gezellige restaurantjes met leuke terrasjes, probeer... wat mensen zeggen » La Lamia eens. Overigens is ook het diner in het restaurant zelf zeer aan te raden om (eens) te doen. Er zijn nauwelijks Nederlanders. Dat vonden wij - Location was very good as it was a short walk to the centre of Tropea. The shuttle bus to the beach was an advantage as were the complimentary sunbeds and umbrella. Breakfast was great and the staff was very professional. Hotel was very well run. - Close to centre of Tropea but not so close as to hear the nightlife in Tropea. (Music festival in full voice during our stay)

  Hotel was great. Nice fresh air at night being higher up the hill awayfrom the centre, very tranquil. We didn't use the shuttle during theday, 10 minute walk to the centre, 15 to the beach. Taxi recommended onreturn in the evenings. - I liked the garden which keeps the room cool and the provacy

  Above all the service was probably the best we have ever experienced. Sharon's thoughtfulness and attention to the small details were apparent everywhere. Even to the supplying of a wash line outside the bathroom window so that you could wash and dry clothes quickly. We used that a lot as we had been travelling in Italy for a week before we arrive... wat mensen zeggen » d in Tropea at a night here and couple there so had a lot of clothes that rquired washing. They supply flip flps and beach towels for the beach which - Sadly we stayed only one night had we known how lovely the room and the hosts were we most definitely would have stayed longer. This is a gem not to be missed. Best breakfast so far, lovely room and our hosts could not have done any more for us if they tried. Super city location we went to a super restaurant called La Lamia - not to be missed. Should we return here this is where we will stay for the duration of our break. Best wishes to the young owners they have got it right.

The chef used to come to the table and asked us about the quality of the food. A Russian lady-waitress was really nice and made our evening special. Thumbs up for both of them. I'd really recommend the hotel for everyone. If I ever going back

  One of my favorite hotels ever! The attention to detail is amazing from the rooms to the gardens to the perfect breakfast every morning on the terrace. The staff is warm and friendly and the location and view are incredible. - Very quiet ( almost monastic).It even has a cloister. Pleasant gardens and terraces.
