Great hotel. The breakfasts were fantastic with wide variety of food, staff behind the desk friendly and helpful, cleaning staff friendly, rooms spotlessly cleaned and made everyday, close to train. Trieste is quite small so nothing really too far. I paid the same per night in Rome, Hotel Altavilla, and comparing Hotel Milano to there is like a 5

Surprisingly very Comfortable rooms, although lobby and buulding itself seemed to be rather old and little untidy. Not luxury but very good hotel with helpful staff.

The location was superb, the staff were very helpful. The room was very comfortable albeit I would have preferred a external view. Would book again, for weekend or short city break. Apartment located close to train station, easy to walk and also close to the centre by foot.
The apartment was huge and very clean. Reception staff were friendly and polite and should you wish to leave luggage of your check out day that's no problem. Would stay here again if we were in Trieste. There is a bar/cafe just next door but we didn't use it so cannot comment.
There is also a supermaket very close by on the next block.

We got in very late due to airline delay..and they were wonderful in
holding our room and getting us into the hotel room. The breakfasts were
fantastic. The room price was worth every dollar. They even helped us
avoid an 18 Euro parking fee every day by telling us about the very

The location of the hotel on the waterfront and in the center of historical amenities are two reasons to stay here. The city bus services are conveniently located just outside the hotel's doors. The hotel is located in an historical building (we had a balcony facing the water) with rooms that were immaculate and whose staff were very helpful. An added bonus was that our car rental office was only a few minutes' walk from the hotel.

The hotel is situated in a small village but many attractions are conveniently to reach from there (by car). For a trip to Triest there is a bus stop in front of the house, there is a direct bus connection to Triest central station.
The owners were really friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious with variations each day. The rooms are cosy, very clean and lovely decorated.

The staff were excellent, very friendly. They were happy to call up a restaurant for me and book a table. I also heard them calling an airline office for another guest to change their flights. The hotel itself is basic but very clean and within a short walk to both the city centre, the sea front & the train / bus station. -

Everything. Trieste is a beautiful town and this is a beautiful place. The room I had was large, thoughtfully decorated and extremely comfortable. The location was brilliant, the staff were lovely, breakfast was beautiful and featured local produce, there's a crazy lovely naughty puppy dog who was great, it's across the road from a lovely osteria called Marise (go!)... I would love to stay in this place forever. I wish all hotels were like this.
