  This place is an absolute gem: close to Montalcino, Pienza, etc., yet removed from the tourist craziness down a private road. The scenery is stunning, and the facilities are superb. The apartment is spacious, well appointed with lovely furniture and detailing, and so, so clean. The food in the downstairs restaurant is simple yet fantastic (Aldy is... wat mensen zeggen » a chef), and the wine is exceptional. Madalena and Aldy are wonderful hosts, and are so welcoming. We sat together and talked, Madalena showed me aro - It was the best stay in our trip to Italy!!! Just imagine: the beautifull house in the wineyards totally at your disposal, a gourmet dinner with simlpe local products made specially and personally for you, a great hi-end wine Brunello de Montalchino, and the warmest people who are making all of this for you. Thank you, Magdalena and Aldy! It was really great!!!

  Quiet, beautiful setting in the country, dishwasher was a nice touch, heating system which was great in November, very nice staff. Private wine tasting on request. - The apartment was good, but for a wine resort would have expected a wine-screw to be available!!
