  The two best things about this small hotel was the owner Ettore and the location. Ettore couldn't have been more helpful.I have never experienced any staff member at any place I have ever stayed who was more welcoming. We certainly didn't need to refer to any guide books while we were in his hotel. he was genuinly interested in how our day went and and did all he - Ettore was a wonderful and thoughtful host that made our stay very enjoyable. He was tremendously helpful in answering any of our questions. He offered a great overview of things to see and do not only in Sorrento but on the Amalfi Coast. He was very knowledgeable about the area and was able to suggest some great restaurants. The B&B was in an excellent location (in old town) - walking distance to the ferry terminal, train station, shopping and restaurants. The accomodations were comfortabl

  Highly recommended. Right in the heart of Sorrento. Only 15 minutes walk to train station and bus depot. We had a spacious room overlooking the piazza. Friendly and helpful staff. We would definitely stay there again when we return to Sorrento. No lifts, so you better practice lifting your suitcases up a few flight of stairs.   We realized we are not going to make to Sorrento by 8 pm, and called them. They were kind enough to wait, and Roberta let us in at well past 10 pm. The room is tastefully decorated, with a nice balcony overlooking the street. There were some packages cookies and stuff as breakfast - not a whole lot, but ok. Excellent location not far from train station.No breakfast area but rooms have kettle and there are yogurts and fruit drinks left in fridge each day,there is also a basket of chocolate bars and bruschetta .

  The staff were excellent and the little chalets were a refreshing change from a multi storey hotel. It's a ten minute walk to the main square but as a result it's a peaceful retreat. There's a great restaurant called Fillippo about a five minute walk away.   Let's start with the staff, they are so helpful and friendly. This hotel is located right on the main strip and close to restaurants, shoppes, the old town, etc.. It is very modern, clean and quiet (double paned doors block out most street noise). We had a balcony overlooking the Main Street that is closed to traffic every evening (pedestrian zone... wat mensen zeggen » ), we loved being a part of the action but if you prefer something a little quieter ask for a room on the other side of the hotel. We thought the brea - This was my favorite hotel stay on our trip to Italy. Pepe and his staff were the best; professional, super friendly, I can't say more to express how warm and helpful they were. We had a wonderful room. It had all the amenities we needed and a large bathroom. Breakfast was more than wonderful. The location was spot on, right in the middle of town. It's all you could want and need for a lovely stay in Sorrento.

  Maison Tofani is the best kept secret in Sorrento. The staff were exceptional, especially Giovanni who collected our hire car on the morning we were leaving as the garage did not open until after we wanted to leave. Maria the owner cooks amazing cakes and pastries for breakfast which was the best breakfast we had in Italy. Giovanni - We stayed 6 nights in Maison Tofani which is a great little hotel in the historical centre of Sorrento, decorated in the best Italian style. We had a large room with a big bed, a sofa and armchairs, a bathroom with shower - and free wifi! The room overlooked the narrow shopping street. We had a small table and two chairs on the minute balcony where we could watch the world go by. The windows were well insulated as we weren't disturbed by noise.   Staff was very friendly, especially Massimiliano. We arrived on the wrong day and reception was closed, he came from his restaurant and helped us out. Called our hotel in Praiano to confirm that we still have a booking and escorted us personally to the train station. Great location- right in the middle of the city. Bars, shopping, and restaurants... wat mensen zeggen » , right at your doorstep. We stayed in a three bedroom room. Very spacious. Bathroom was MASSIVE with a huge jacuzzi. Great Wifi reception. Make sure - -the staffs are great, they will help you as much as they can and sincere. They work hard -The rooms are big, clean and excellent -The bathroom is clean -No lift, only stairs. They will help to take our luggage by luggage lift, but if you have problem with your health to take stairs, you have to consider this or you can ask for the room downstair -The internet line not strong enough if you use it in the room
