The service in the restaurant was excellent and the serving of drinks and aperitivo in the library was a nice touch..

  The Bencista is a fabulous old villa up in the hills of Fiesole with breathtaking views of Florence. It is a wonderful, quiet retreat from long days of sight-seeing. It is a short walk to the bus stop to catch the #7 bus into town (20 min) or a €25 cab ride (recommended for luggage). We had good wi-fi in our room as well as around the building.   Monica, who owns and manages Rosary Gardens, simply can not do enough for her guests. This was my second stay at this hotel and it ranks one of the best experiences ever. The hotel us clean, quiet and has more than you could hope for, down to the magnifying mirrors in the bathrooms. I have to mention the breakfasts there as they are amazing. The hotel is on the outside of Florence approx 4 km. of the city centre.
