  We stayed at Relais De L'Opera for our honeymoon in Rome and it was an excellent choice. We were contacted in advance and offered various options for a transfer to the hotel from the airport, and chose a private driver who was there and waiting for us. Dominico was very gracious, stayed late to welcome me since my flight arrived late evening and made sure I was settled in and had his mobile number in case I needed anything.   Location is excellent in - walking distance to most major attractions. Lots of good restaurants close by. Room size was great, very spacious and very clean. Staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel arranged an airport pick up and drop off for us which was helpful. We rented bikes from a small bike shop close by (details were at the reception), and saw even more of the city. Just be careful of t - Location is great! Breakfast - in the room or on the common terrace - very good. This is a b&b on the 2nd floor of an old block, and once you get to the 2nd floor it's excellent, the rooms are large, well fitted out, clean and well serviced. However, although the booking photos show the plaza, the entrance to the building is a steel barred gate on a small side street which the taxi found tough to locate. The initial impression from the entrance gate is therefore not as expected.

  Francesco the owner made me feel welcome as soon as I arrived and he was a wonderful host for the duration of my stay in Rome. The location of Baldassini is perfect. It is so central that most things are within very easy walking distance, and it's always such a pleasure to walk the streets of this beautiful city. The street was qu - I was a bit nervous booking this because there weren't many reviews, but it far exceeded our expectations!   It is very well located near Trastevere and Campo Di Fiori. The place is very small, it is only one floor with 3 rooms and a small kitchen to have breakfast but rooms are clean and confortable. Upon arrival we were greeted and also given a quick but thorough rundown of the city and the best places to eat, attractions and their distances to our location which was a great way to start our planning!   We wanted a place close enough to the Vatican City, metro and bus stop so we can eat breakfast in the morning and not come back until we were done enjoying Rome for the day. This is just what we wanted. Nice place, no luxuries but with great staff and outstanding service. Fresh espresso/capucino in the morning with continental breakfast.
