  Very good location right in the center close to the main city attractions and boutiques. We lived in a double room facing the yard with a nice balcony. It was very calm, cosy and clean. Breakfast was also very good. Trevi fountain is very close to the hotel, as well as several historic churches and other magnificent monuments. Transportation is also very easy as the - We stayed here as a family for my husband's 60th birthday and 14-year-old son. We really enjoyed the all-inclusive breakfast, and the helpful staff who work there. The charming hotel is located right in the heart of Rome, with access to everything! We had a triple room with a balcony and it was just perfect. Refrigerator is in the room. Full shower and bath. We cannot wait to come back and visit Rome again ...it was truly a magical trip.   Small boutique hotel with Italian Renaissance decor. Updated bathrooms, though small by American standards, had many unique features not usually seen in hotels in the usa. The owner, Roberto, is professional and takes great pride in the attention to the details of the hotel. Very clean and comfortable. Very near top attractions and local cafés. I ... wat mensen zeggen » have stayed there 5 times over the last 5 years, and appreciate the unique and lush appearance of the hotel, but if you are into large spaces and cont - Our host Roberto, his wife and the staff were welcoming and took extra care of our needs. We booked two single rooms and sometimes in the past we have been allocated tiny, substandard rooms. The rooms at the Celio were charming, clean and the location between the Colosseo and Laterano was fabulous. This was the first time we have ventured out of the Trevi/Tritone area. (We go to Rome each year over past 15 years and this experience was one of our most enjoyable. Grazie Roberto!!

  The location was great if you like to walk(15-20minutes from piazza Popolo or Spagnia) or use the public transportation (direct lines to Vatican,Trastevere and Coloseum 5-10minutes walk away) it had also a taxi piazza 20m away. There's a taxi rank 2 mins walk (top of road, turn right), and is only about 10-15 mins drive / 12-15 euro taxi fare to major attractions.
