  I stayed in the hostel for 9 nights, the staff is very professional, friendly, respectful and helpful, Alina is part of the staff and she gave me great advice on things and people in Florence. Very well located, is a very clean place.   One of the best hostels I've stayed at. Check in was simple, and the people were very kind. It's a huge hostel/hotel so it doesn't have the general "hostel atmosphere" in main areas, but I stayed in a female dorm with 5 other girls, and made instant friends! Also the most impressive part of this hostel/hotel is that they have just about every c... wat mensen zeggen » onvenience you can imagine! From a delicious included breakfast, to laundry facilities, free filtered water machine, and hot water for making tea etc - The staff we're nice and obliging. 24 hour reception and no curfew. The rooms were great and kept quite tidy. Bathrooms were kept very clean which was nice. Free wi-fi was awesome. If you want to spend your last day exploring- you can leave your bags at the hotel and pick them up later so you don't have to take them around with you all day.   Location, despite with a slight distance from center, is great. And, it's only minutes from the sea! Staff is great and overall first impression is really good. Reception and lounge are nice and welcoming. Breakfast with no problems. Room is nice and spacious (double). You can even see the sea from your room!   It was close to the train station and easy to find. Also the staff were super helpful and friendly. Often at hostels you feel unwelcome or like a burden especiallly if you donàt speak the language. But they were great, even speaking in English. - The staff are really nice. There's a kitchen with some free stuff for travelers(probably left by the ... wat mensen zeggen » other travelers).   Ostello San Frediano was right within the walls of Lucca, a wonderful Italian medieval city. There are cafes and shops around the corner and a beautiful old church to admire right next door. Our room was actually on two levels with two single beds downstairs and a double with bathroom and a good shower upstairs. There were marble floors, high ceilings and many lounge areas, wi-fi in the lobby only and the staff were h - A great place to chill out and close to the wall for some exercise. liked the quietness and laid back atmosphere with plenty of room to spread out to catch up on Emails, reading etc. Sami who ran the private eating area adjacent to the foyer, was very helpful and friendly when i told him I was a veggo. wouos definitely stay here again and also recommend to others.
