especially waiting for us to check-in at 5pm (normal check-in time
from 12pm to 2pm). Staff are polite and willing to provide

We loved everything about Urban Chic House. The modern design in an old building was very creative. Owner Patrize was there to answer questions and make good recommendations for touring and eating out. Great market across the street. We stayed for 3 nights and used it as a base for touring Cinque Terre and Portoverne. Enjoyed time in evenings walking around LaSpezia.

The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was
simple but nice and the tables outside were in such a beautiful and
quiet setting. It was easy access to Levanto. We never met the owner,
but the gentleman who worked there was so helpful and kind. His English
was excellent. He drove down to Levanto so we could follow Jim and park
our car for free. Then he gave us directions for a short walk to the
train station where we were able to get off and on all day to enjoy each

The location was great. Cesare who checked us in was very helpful with info and needs. Only B&B in our trip of 5 of them who gave the personal attention of giving you a drink upon arrival, had a bowl of fruit to grab as you needed. Also had fresh fruit in your room, with cookies and a small coffeemaker and safe. It is decorated nicely contempary and we had the best shower! Cesare's MaMa does the breakfast that is outstanding. We loved this B&B! Was beautiful inside-with a big bed and nice bathroom. There was a nice little courtyard to sit at outside (we were on the bottom floor).

Very friendly and helpful young landlady who spoke very good English and equally friendly elderly ladies helping with the service. An excellent hotel, away from the crowds in a pretty village. A picturesque church, locals bar (very friendly) and a frogs chorus in the evening added to a really enjoyable stay. Elena the owner helped us plan our days. We enjoyed the recommendations of the restaurant at Imperia, the market town of Pieve di Teco and the beach at Alassio. I loved this B&B. Wanda was such a wonderful host. The location of this B&B is in the old town on Monterosso - in the heart of all the beautiful old buildings and very close to the main beach. Arianna and her husband are genuinely friendly and helpful. It didn't feel like they were just going through the motions of being our hosts.
The B&B has an eclectic and thoughtful design and use of space. Our bedroom was well appointed and stylish with a large bed and comfy mattress. If you are on foot, be prepared to take the ancient cobbled alleys down into town and then back up again. It will help burn off the pasta cals.

The B&B being on the top floor of a former palace in the heart of old Genoa is the perfect location for a city break. It's close to everything including the train station. Lovely homely hotel in historic end of town one road back from the Ancient Port of Genova. Sensational exposed walls in the bedrooms from the 1500's. Mooi en moderne accomodatie - La Casa was quite easy to find, the pathway being opposite the undercover public car park, and the mule track was really not that bad, so long as you pace yourself. A group of three couples stayed for four nights; Tre Stelle was perfect for us with three suites plus a sitting-room and dining/kitchen. Our host, Cristian couldn't have been more friendly and helpful - he made three trips to the railway station to collect us and all of our baggage. We enjoyed being in a quiet country road away from the frenzy of the Cinque Terre towns. It was an easy walk to supermarket, station, beach and restaurants.

The weather was a little bit cold and it was raining, but the studio we stayed in was warm, clean and well equipped.The view from the window over the sea, mountain and village was nice. Breakfast was good. Unfortunatly due to the weather we could not have breakfast on the terrace that had a nice view overlooking the surrounding terraced hills.
