  When we arrived, we had the pleasant surprise to get an upgrade from a normal room to a studio (with kitchenette). The room is very comfortable and spacious enough.. The staff is very welcoming, helpful and nice (though we arrived at about 11am, our room was ready). Cavour metro station is at about 2 minutes walk too).. The neighborhood is safe, lively - The lady welcoming us was wonderful catered for all our needs which was sadly only one overnight stay .We had our son with us who unfortunately had broken his leg 5 days beofre and in cast on crutchesno lift was a challenge but we coped and enjoyed the stay in our neat room .Supplied coffee facilities and personal key to get back in for Ah energency .Would recommend the view to coloseumwas awesome other sites wallking distance and we were given good tips for transport and resturants BelFredDrew

  I stayed at Hotel Desiderio for nine nights and I loved it. The staff is very friendly and very helpful. The bed is perfect and the sheets are very clean. The location is perfect because the train station is right there not even two minutes walk.   Perfect location, only 2 minutes walk away from the Cavour Metro station plus one of the best gelato shops in Rome (Fatamorgana) is right outside the hotel. A number of nice cafes around, with a pizza restaurant next door that can deliver food to your hotel room free of charge. We particularly appreciate him helping us out with ticket purchases and his recommendation to eat at La Cicala (only 5 - Top floor room had a private terrace, Free internet, Air conditioning was a plus, but the real bonus here is location location location. It is a 10 minute walk to the Colosseum, The Roman Forum, Trojan's Forum and The National Monument to Vittorio Emanuale II which are all must see landmarks in Rome.   Roberta, great location. One block from the Vatican. Very clean. Great neighborhood. Safe, great little restaurants. Nice little coffee shop right a cross the street. Again Roberta the host. - Roberta and her staff were wonderful. It was a great experience. I would go back there again an recommend it to others!

  We have spent in Morelli our honeymoon and everything was very nice! The location is very good! The room was comfortable, not noisy, cleaning was done every day! Breakfast was quite simple (served in our room), but it was no problem, cause there was a fridge in our room to keep our products. The hosts of the hotel ordered us a taxi to pick us from... wat mensen zeggen » the airport and it was also very comfortable! (47Euro whereas ordinary price in taxiservice is from 48Euro). Don't forget to take a mini-kettle with - I love the cappuccino and croissant for breakfast. Do not miss those! The location is pretty strategic with Via Veneto just a 5-minute walk away. At first I had my misgivings about the safety of the area as I was on my own, but I think it is much better compared to those nearer to Termini.
