We chose this place because of excellent customer ratings and we agree with them now. Very friendly staff, they quickly helped us with all our requests. Fenced parking lot was very important for us as we came by car. 5 min walk to the city bus station, the bus number 170 got as in 15 min to Piazza Venecia, which is in the city center. Restaurants, supermarkets and other shops are very close. We found out that shopping on the Marconi street is better than in the city center or in the Porta di Ro

Not sure I want to provide a review about this place as it will be giving away a secret! I travel to Rome often and had to book this hotel at the last minute. I was pleasantly surprised. What struck me the most was the friendly nature of the family running this establishment. I can only describe it as old fashioned hospitality with a genuine smile. Bedroom was huge for mid city standards and shower was larger than most 5 star hotel.

We spent 4 nights in Rome and Hotel de Teatro became our home-away-from home. Great location near Piazza Navona and Campo di Fieri. Paulo at the front desk was very helpful and spoke impeccable English although I tried some Italien. The breakfast was delicious, our room comfortable and spacious and very clean.

Location was extremely convenient, just 4 short blocks from Termini station in central Rome (hub for all trains, buses and subways). Good sound insulation from the street (there is a daily street market daily just outside). Neighbourhood is diverse and felt safe, with a variety of inexpensive restaurants. -

Gambero was centrally located in the heart of Rome making it very easy to just walk outside and start the day. We spent long hours just walking around and stumbling upon amazing historical monuments. It is a very young modern Hotel. - The stuff is just great, super-proffesional! Hotel is quite new, rooms are well-designed, good-furnished and really nice, as well as hotel itself. Breakfast is great, but quite expencive. Location is not in "touristic" place, so you can find a lot of cafe, bars and shopes with usual prices.
