The breakfast was delicious, the location was smack dab in the center of everything, and the room was spacious and clean, clean, clean. Great location in the old quarter in the center of Sorrento. Everything was perfect. The apartment was bi-level, bedroom and bathroom downstairs and a small kitchen upstairs, which allowed us to cook a few nights and then dine out a few nights. It is also an easy 30 minute train ride from Sorrrento to Pompei and 15 more minutes to Herculanaem. Staff at Magi House were wonderful. The owner Mariano wants to make sure that you have a great stay.

This Family owned Villa Hotel is a gem of Positano. We were extremely please with our stay in this wonderful place, Mr Antonio made the stay fresh, exciting, welcoming and warm. He was very helpful and full of recommendations and advice. This is just perfect hotel with a location at Spaccanapoli, close to Santa Chiara. You cant go wrong by staying here.
There are a few issues though. First there is no breakfast, no food at all. You will get a meal ticket, you can use this to pay for a coffe and a croissant at the coffe bar at Piazza S. Domenico Maggiore, a 7 min walk from the hote

The hotel is on the second floor, so plenty of stairs, but Vincent was on hand to help with our bags. We had a large double room with en suite shower room, and a small balcony facing Santa Chiara. You're right in the middle if the historical centre of the city with easy access to all the churches etc. the room was clean and if you kept the French doors to the balcony closed, you couldn't hear any traffic noise at all. The apartmentd were pretty and with all the conforts. Ideal location for us, a mature couple, but there were also young families and a group of friends.
If you have never been in Cilento, go there. People are friendly and the beach is nice.
You're also close to Paestum one of the most important historical places in Italy.
