  We loved the location of this hidden gem! It is located in Forio, near the top of the mountain. We were nervous at first because the cab driver just kept saying "oh too far, very hard". We soon found that he meant to drive his cab to the hotel ( lots of winding narrow roads, took about 45 minutes). But we got to our destination and couldn't have b... wat mensen zeggen » een happier. The daughter speaks the most English and the whole family was extre - We have chosen this hotel for our honeymoon in August 2013 from huge list of hotels on Ischia and as soon as we arrived we were SO glad of our choise. The hotel staff is very helpful and nice, the location is perfect - it's very quiet, but you can reach all the places and sights that you need (they have a free transfer to city and to the beach). Renting a car is a very good solution, but we didn't rent cause we were afraid of tricky roads on island. The breakfast is nice, but there aren't much

  This hotel is absolutely great! The location is wonderful, when you go down from the hotel you're right in the central Amalfi shopping street. The staff was super friendly and nice, really great service! The room where we stayed in was beautiful and totally clean. It even had 2 tv's! The wifi in the hotel works perfectly, very fast!   We loved our stay at casa pendola! First thing that amazed us were clouds passing by the window! The view is great, rooms are clean and very nice, breakfast is good! It was easy to find casa pendola because of plenty of road signs on our way. Though the place is a bit far from major touristic cities like amalfi (20 mins drive) and positano (45mins... wat mensen zeggen » drive), for us it was an outstanding opportunity to stay here. Firstly, there are some few really nice restaurants in this area with excellent kitche - We stayed there for a week. Lovely Hotel in a lovely place with great view and good weather. Good access to all interesting places around. Owners are with big hart and very caring. They helped us a lot with both trip instructions and with solving problems we've had. We enjoined a lot the home made cakes that was served with breakfast every morning. We have had a great experience staying in Casa Pendola and warmly recommend it!

  This was our fourth stay at this hotel. Our previous 3 stays occured during the years that the hotel was a JW Marriott. The hotel has been completed refurbished and it is beautiful. The new feeling is one of a boutique hotel with an intimate feeling. The entire staff went out of its way to meet our every need. The hotel has only been open for three months, so everything is fresh and new and to an excellent quality and standard.   Sorrento Apartments is a 5 on all questions. I picked Sorrento apartments because the price was completive and the ratings were higher. I made my reservation kind of late but I still requested a bath tub and a lower floor. I figured asking can’t hurt. They were able to accommodate me on both request and I got a balcony suite. Everyth - Sorrento apartments was a joy to stay at, the staff were courteous and very friendly. we stayed in the 4 person apartment with the balcony. we were over in Sorrento for our wedding and a number of times we had around 20+ people in our apartment and they happily accommodated us. the balcony was able to hold 20+ people with sun beds, table, chairs and even a little pond provided! the apartment was clean and fresh and the kitchen fully kitted out for self sustained living. the bar below happily br

  We stayed here to be close to the Pompeii archeological site. The hosts did everything they could to make us welcome and to help us visit the ruins, despite the fact that they spoke little English. The room was nothing fancy but we had everything we needed, and they provided secure parking right next door. They had good car parking facilities. They oriented us on walking to Pompeii archeological site and getting bus to Vesuvius. The breakfast was amazing with all the homemade jams and fresh bread.
