You are situated right next to the beach and ferry port which is super convenient when you have all your luggage. The hotel is also in walking distance to several shops and restaurants. The location of the hotel was perfect for Positano. We were very glad that we were not staying at any hotel on the upper side of the town since transportation within Positano can be challenging. A bit pricey but definitely worth the money. Perfect for honeymoon couples.

The bathroom was spectacular with all the lovely marble and all the amenities; slippers, bathrobes, lots of towels and anything you may have left a home was already there. The location was perfect as we had tickets to the opera, not realizing the hotel was just around the corner. I would recommend t - In 2 weeks traveling around Italy, this is the best, without a doubt. The staff could not be faulted, rooms were modern and very clean, breakfast was the best continental buffet, and for the older part of the city, location was great. For further afield, a short walk to the Metro. Wins on all aspects of a great stay. Make sure you have an address in Italian, because it is a little hard to find 1'st time. ps. Skip Pompeii and go to Herculeum.

Or a quick dip in the pool which although a little small provides the chance to cool off. The main part of the town is a short walk down the hill. To the front desk staff at check out...all super super hospitable..!! They went out of their way to make me feel at home..!!! The location is perfect & just a short walk from the beach & shopping & restaurants ... In short.... Total value for money...& I'm definitely staying at the Marincanto next time I'm in Positano..!
