  We were treated like royalty... the owners of the hotel, a family, helped us with all our tourism questions, they accomodated all our needs, and then offered even more! Our stay could not have been any better. They made us feel like part of their family! It was just wonderful! From talking with other businesses around town that Tramonto D'Oro h... wat mensen zeggen » as a great reputation around the towns. - We were greeted at the door with open arms and treated like family during our too short stay. The room was lovely and the view breathtaking! The rooftop pool was truly an oasis! The parking was an unexpected blessing after driving the Amalfi and seeing how scarce it is. The matriarch warmly shook hands with us as we departed. I hope to return some day. lovely breakfast, too!!

  Antonietta and Giovanna were the perfect hosts from start to finish. Their staff including Nico, Diego and Paulo were always very polite, pleasant and extremely helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for Antonietta, Giovanna and their staff!! The hotel looks great and our room was clean and a good size with a patio area leading to the garden. All in all, Orsa Maggiore is a beautiful hotel with excellent owners and - Orsa Maggiore was a beautiful stop for us on our honeymoon. I would request a room Oceanside (beautiful sunsets). The rooms are clean and pretty, but here, you are paying for the views and a great design of a pool area! The staff are also all very nice and helpful! They made good dinner recommendations and always offered to shuttle you around the island (this is quite helpful if you know Capri) and the wifi connection is good. Also-the free breakfast is plentiful!

  Hotel was in an excellent location, really central but not noisy. We had a room with a terrace which overlooked the pool. It was really nice; it was a bit cool to use the pool but if you did it would be nice to retreat to your private terrace; might be noisy in the room though if the pool was busy; a minor concern though.The room also contained a ... wat mensen zeggen » porch and settee area. The reception, cleaning staff, porter and breakfast attendants were all very good. There was a nice range of breakfast fare. - The hotel itself was beautiful, clean and nicely landscaped...we used the pool and it was fantastic, a nice place to get away from the crowds. (and trust me, there are massive crowds during the day when the cruise ships come to town....) Our room (212) was huge with a nice balcony overlooking the gardens. The hotel was in a good location, just a quick walk from the main piazza. Breakfast was good, lots of choices.

  gunstige ligging - I enjoyed the beautiful roof garden with a spectacular view of Mt. Vesuvius and the town's cathedral. I especially enjoyed the 19th century elegance with modern conveniences. The location is perfect for visiting ancient Pompeii and Herculaneum and for travelling on the CircumVesuviana to other towns. The staff was very helpful, the hotel was beautiful. Breakfast was included with our room and was very delicious. There is a hot tub on the roof of the hotel with an amazing view of night time Pompeii. We had a quad room that had lots of space for our family of four. We were impressed w/cleanliness, hospitality, and quietness.

  My wife and I travelled to this hotel for a night on our honeymoon. It was better than we could have imagined. The reason we chose this hotel was because of the brilliant reviews of the restaurant Taverna Del Capitano ( a michelin star restaurant) that is below the hotel. Alfonso's kitchen lives up to its Michelin-star'd reputation. He never fails to delight. An excellent choice for beach lovers. This amazing tavern does everything right to make one's stay memorable.   Villa Fraulo is set in a stunning location, high on the cliffs looking over the sea. The town of Ravello is wonderful, full of great restaurants, small shops and lovely buildings. The hotel was arranged a car to collect us from Naples airport and the driver was able to provide a tour to Pompei, Vesuvius and Herculaneum whi - The most Fantastic hotel, with beautiful views, great rooms, superb location near centre of Ravello, brilliant breakfast with such a variety & quality and absolutely top class staff who cared for their guests, sought high standards and were, well, just very, very nice, helpful people. Fully recommend this hotel - good car parking & it's also an oasis, when you get all 'touristed out', this is the place to relax. Just lovely!

  Rota Suites is awesome. It is clean, modern and recently refurbished. The decor was very tasteful. Giuseppi and Rafaella couldn't have been more helpful. In het hotel hebben wij de eerste avond gegeten en ook dat was heerlijk met een fantastisch overzicht over de baai van Positano. Houd er rekening mee dat de auto altijd betaald geparkeerd moet worden omdat Positano simpelweg geen plek heeft voor auto's.
