  Everything! Once we arrived to the resort we all agreed that we had arrived to a paradise. To sum it up: -The service was attentive and impeccable (special thanks to Luciano!) - Rooms were very luxurious and comfortable and staff made every attempt to make your stay to the highest standards. - Grounds were amazing. Only regret is that we didn't stay - The hotel is amazing, I highly recommend it if you are in Ischia, the best value for money we had in Amalfi coast. The hotel is located in big garden area,has its own private beach, nice kitchen, super service, special thank to Salvatore, Manager in the restaurant. You really feel special, rooms are very fresh, staff is highly attentive to your requests, the hotel has a nice spa area and good gym.

  The hotel grounds were amazing, and the pools were cleaned everyday, the breakfast was great eggs and bacon and delicious cakes. And the staff were great. - Beautiful location and friendly staff. Lovely hotel and spa. Good buffet type breakfast. I come here regularly and enjoy it every time.

  During a 2-week trip to Italy this great hotel was the highlight. The stunning views of the bay of Naples from our room and the beautiful dining room/ restaurant were a joy! The staff are super friendly and helpful and the breakfast was good with a nice variety (including tasty omelettes and cappucinos). The hotel is close to a bus stop (orange/ red buses into town and the train station, blue Sita buses to Amalfi an Positano). We, - The hotel is located on a very scenic spot of Sorrento, on a cliff. My wife like the decoration and setting of the hotel, she ranked it the best hotel. This comment is not light considering we have traveled a lot over the past 30 years. The restaurant is one of the highlights of the hotel. They make gorgeous, delicious food at a very reasonable price. We stayed 5 days there and it was a very pleasant stay. Will recommend to anybody traveling to Sorrento.

We had a superb meal at the Hotel - The Grande Hotel Vesuvio is truly grand! It is an elegant top of the line hotel with a friendly and helpful staff. We were upgraded to a suite upon arrival and had two large rooms beautifully furnished. They supply their guests with comfy terry robes and slippers and nice toiletries. Wi fi was free.   We drove my little Fiat up and down the amazing Amalfi Coast and stayed 3days/2nights. We should have stayed longer. It was late January and there was still plenty to do and see. Winter is now my favourite season to discover Italy. Sure it might rain a little but usually crisp sunny days. Only real people about. No crowds. Very affordable prices for accomodation and restaurants everywhere you go serving the real, no frills, fantastic and fresh cuisin - I stayed at this hotel with my family as we were attending a wedding. Upon arrival which was quite late, being 00:00, I was greeted and offered a drink while I was checked in. This was very pleasant after a long journey, and exceptional considering the time. My parents had already been checked in, I was shown to my room. The rooms were bright and spacious, and very clean, with a panoramic view of the sea, and mountain side.   This is a great hotel in a great location--a real gem. From what I can tell, all the rooms have a balcony overlooking the sea and the view is fantastic. The staff were very friendly and accommodating and the meals were simple but very good.
