  Masseria Cielogreco was a one night stay for us but we wished we could have stayed longer. This place is up a hill on a dirt road and it overlooks sloping fields that lead down to the sea. It comes complete with olive, orange, fig trees, etc. There are neighboring cows that make a perfect picture and the owners have a wonderful menagerie of cat... wat mensen zeggen » s and dogs that are wonderfully well behaved. The house is stone and our apartment could easily accommodate four adults had a living room and a smal - Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful. This stay has been the highlight of all our accommodation. Superb, full of character country farm environment with magnificent uninterrupted views over rolling hills to huge sea vista without a house or road in sight. Spotless, tasteful, homely, traditional self catering, old stone buildings superbly renovated. The owners are lovely, friendly, generous and authentic Italians. If you want to experience genuine Italian hospitality don't miss this place. Oh, did I

  A wonderful surprise. Greeted by super friendly staff we stayed in a top notch fully equipped room, with a balcony with wonderful view on olive trees. We were woken up by the rooster and we enjoyed an enoumous home made breakfast. Their honey (home made as all the rest) alone is worth the stay. Kids could have their own room so we could have full ... wat mensen zeggen » exclusive use of the kitchen (there is one kitchen/living for every two rooms), and they could also ride the horses and try to catch the geese. In the - Situated in a quiet location in the middle of olive trees about 7km from the sea. Nice rooms with large sitting room/kitchen on each floor. Very kind and generous host, excellent food - antipasti of the region are a must and also try the pizza William!

  We got a spacious and comfortable appartment with 2 bedrooms. The most charming thing about the place is the family atmosphere. We spent a lovely evening talking to the host, who by the way speaks excellent English. His wife is a passionate cook, perhaps you can find it out during breakfast. We felt really welcome and got all the information we ne... wat mensen zeggen » eded (on Pollino National Park where we were planning to go and on great places to eat in the region). - We had a wonderful stay in this interesting little town. My husband rode to the devil's bridge whilst I had a private tour of the museum (both well worth a visit). We were given lots of information about the history of the region and the choice of outdoor activities available. The family were very friendly and cultured, and the b&b expertly run...the wifi worked perfectly, breakfast was varied and delicious, and the room very comfortable.

  This is a family run business and have their guests interests at the top of the list at all times. Lovely old building but in excellent condition and very comfortable. The room was large (larger than normal) with a bigger than normal bathroom which is a real bonus in Italy.   The owner Antonello is wonderful , personable and charming. The grounds are every thing and more. At the hill top is a 40 acre olive tree farm. If you want to experience the mountain living in Calabria this is where youuat so it.
