Close to beaches that you can reach by foot but note that restaurants and 'night life' (bar, pub...) are all located in Lipari center (easily reachable by bis). Free shuttle service but only from the port to the residence

  Fabulous room on two levels with a view over the ocean; great minimalist decor. The lounge was a wonderful place to watch the sun set over the ocean... although drinks buffet a bit pricey (good food though). The beach below was gorgeous.... you can hire lilos to lounge on as a bit difficult otherwise (pebble beach). - Nice large rooms, modern f... wat mensen zeggen » eel to hotel, with great views.   We enjoyed our stay very much. Were picked up by their shuttle bus at port and made very welcome by all staff. Rooms good size and clean very comfortable. Great views from the top floor where we had drinks and breakfast near pool area. Very close to port and many restaurants. - Rooftop pool and terrace where breakfast was served was lovely with a... wat mensen zeggen » great view over the sea. Lovely room with private patio. Great location within walking distance to restaurants cafes shops and the sea. Free wifi available.

  The breakfast was lovely, there was plenty on offer and they served til10am. It was also in a very good position to the main corso but farenough away to not to be in the main hub of noise all night. The bed wasvery comfortable too which is always good news.

  Blu is situated about 1km from the port of Vulcano. The staff speak English and they were only to happy to send the shuttle bus to collect us and our luggage. The Hotel is actually a large collection of spacious, full equipped apartments, ie cooker, utensils etc. The bathroom was spotless as was the rest of the apartment. The pool area was a very ... wat mensen zeggen » short walk from our apartment, with an infinity pool over looking the sea and the smoking Sulphar volcano in the back ground. Here you will find seati - The pool area was great with a stunning view over the bay. The snack bar served excellent salads and paninis for lunch. The accommodation was spartan but clean and comfortable and well-designed so that you stay cool even at the hottest part of the day. The staff were very helpful and considerate and the shuttle bus down to the town is a great benefit. Ring or e-mail ahead and they will pick you up from the ferry when you arrive.
