  Blu is situated about 1km from the port of Vulcano. The staff speak English and they were only to happy to send the shuttle bus to collect us and our luggage. The Hotel is actually a large collection of spacious, full equipped apartments, ie cooker, utensils etc. The bathroom was spotless as was the rest of the apartment. The pool area was a very ... wat mensen zeggen » short walk from our apartment, with an infinity pool over looking the sea and the smoking Sulphar volcano in the back ground. Here you will find seati - The pool area was great with a stunning view over the bay. The snack bar served excellent salads and paninis for lunch. The accommodation was spartan but clean and comfortable and well-designed so that you stay cool even at the hottest part of the day. The staff were very helpful and considerate and the shuttle bus down to the town is a great benefit. Ring or e-mail ahead and they will pick you up from the ferry when you arrive.

  Strand is dichtbij, bushalte is dichtbij. Alles is bereikbaar. - A super alternative to the touristic hotels! Next to the beach, relaxed, very cheap (compared to hotels on Lipari). The owners were very kind to let us in at midnight which is not common for campsites (due to cancelling our ship we had to take the late one to get to Lipari). If you just walk on about 100m you'll have a place that serves great ice cream and delicious tavola calda for lunch (yellow "tent" in front of the entrance). We s - I liked that it was not crowded--because of the off -season probably, that the staff was helpful, the camping is closely monitored , so you have keys for the gates if you come back in the evening. I was in a bungalow which was fine, I didn't venture in other sides of the camping but all looked quiet and the guests were behaving in a civilised manner.
