The restaurant, with outdoor terrace, serves breakfast hich is included in the room rate, from 08:30 - 10:00 (upon request breakfast can be served from 07:00).

A light à-la-carte menu is offered for lunch from 12:00 - 14:00, and snacks can be served by the pool from 11:00 - 18:00.

Dinner is served from 19:30 - 22:30 . Enjoy a 4-course menu, excluding drinks, at an additional cost of EUR 30 per person.

During summertime, breakfast, lunch and dinner can be served in the garden, weather permitting, with live piano music from time to time.

Small meetings and seminars, wedding receptions, gala dinners and working lunches can be catered for upon request.

The small region of Val d'Orcia (40-50 km south of Siena), is mainly formed of gentle hills amidst the so called Crete Senesi (Sienese clay-hills). The 5 major villages part of Val d'Orcia are: Montalcino; Radicofani; San Quirico d'Orcia; Pienza; and Castiglione d'Orcia, all of which are at the foot-hill of the Monte Amiata, the highest mountain in the south of Tuscany.

There are daily excursions available to all of the towns of Val d’Orcia. All are very well preserved from their medieval eras, and are well known for their local products: Pienza for its Pecorino Cheese, famous the world over; Montalcino and Montepulciano for their wines (Brunello and Nobile respectively); Radicofani for its history, including Ghino di Tacco (during the 14th century it was known as the Robin Hood of Val d'Orcia).

Chiusi was the capital of the Etruscan civilization well over 3000 years ago, where lately 2 graveyards have been found of the 2 kings who based themselves in Chiusi; excavations are still going on in much of the area for more archaeological Etruscan sites.

Orvieto, Civita di Bagno Regio, Perugia, Assisi, Gubbio Cortona, the lakes of Trasimeno and Bolsena are all within one hour’s drive of the Villa.

The spacious and comfortable rooms offer stunning vistas over the surrounding countryside or the garden.

There is a cottage with 2 Double Rooms, both with a bathroom and a shared small kitchen which is ideal for a family of 4/5 people.
One room is available on the ground floor and 8 rooms have panoramic views. In the farmhouse, Podere Colombaio, there are 3 self-contained apartments, each with cooking facilities,a large garden and own pool, ideal for those desiring a bit more independence and privacy.

By train:
Go to Chiusi-Chianciano on the main railway-line (Milano-Roma-Naples or Venezia-Roma-Naples).
Once in Chiusi, there is a rent-a-car service in front of the station.

By car:
From the north or south:
- take the A1 motorway.
- exit at Chiusi-Chianciano.
- once you exit the motorway, turn left towards Sarteano.
- drive up towards Sarteano and follow signs to Radicofani,
- 14/15 km past Sarteano, before reaching Radicofani, there is a junction on the left signed to San Casciano dei Bagni - Celle Sul Rigo, turn left toward these 2 towns.
- After 1.6 km, on your right-hand side, there is a sign to Locanda Agriturismo Fattoria La Palazzina, drive up this double lane of cypresses, gravel road and enter into the relaxed world of La Palazzina.
