Located within 5-10 minutes walk from the main places of Naples. The room was quite spacious and clean. Special thanks to nice girl at the reception Lyudmila, she helped us with a choice of restaurants and places to visit. The hotel owner is very friendly and nice person. We had a late check out and he agreed with it. Taxi was called at the time.

  We had spent a few days in Sorrento and had a 10 am flight back to the UK from Naples airport, so we decided to stay in Naples the night before to make it easier for us to get to the airport to get our flight. We had a superb meal at the Hotel - The Grande Hotel Vesuvio is truly grand! It is an elegant top of the line hotel with a friendly and helpful staff. We were upgraded to a suite upon arrival and had two large rooms beautifully furnished. They supply their guests with comfy terry robes and slippers and nice toiletries. Wi fi was free. It's more dirty than the other cities we visited in Italy but the people are very warm and welcoming. Heed the warnings and do not travel with expensive jewelry.   We booked at last minute so the fare was low. We got for a small amount of money the facilities of a hotel which sometimes is better (24 hr service, a more complete breakfast, easy to access). Good value for money and a nice place to stay when planning to be outside all day. It wasn't located in the center but yet it was very close to the central... wat mensen zeggen » train station, so it is very good to stay there if you are planning to stay for a night or two and are travelling around italy by train. - The hotel is located very close to the Central Rail Station, which makes it very easy to get to Pompei or Sorento. You can also reach the historical city center on foot in less than 30 minutes. The hotel looks very nice, it is spotless clean and the staff is really friendly and helpful. The breakfast is basic italian-style, but they have fresh pastry avery morning and you can rely on it to start the day. Would definitely stay there again.

  This is just perfect hotel with a location at Spaccanapoli, close to Santa Chiara. You cant go wrong by staying here. There are a few issues though. First there is no breakfast, no food at all. You will get a meal ticket, you can use this to pay for a coffe and a croissant at the coffe bar at Piazza S. Domenico Maggiore, a 7 min walk from the hote... wat mensen zeggen » l. I didnt, it was to upperclass for my taste, so I had my morning coffe at small coffe bar in Via Sebastiano, of course I had to pay, that meal tick - The hotel is on the second floor, so plenty of stairs, but Vincent was on hand to help with our bags. You're right in the middle if the historical centre of the city with easy access to all the churches etc. the room was clean and if you kept the French doors to the balcony closed, you couldn't hear any traffic noise at all.
