While old and original on the outside (being part of the Sassi di Matera), the inside is modern, extremely well arranged and comfortable. The service was great and the overall value was good.

  Very hospitable hosts, very good accommodation across the street from their restaurant, where excellent breakfasts were served. It was a good experience to stay in the centre of Matera. No problem or charge for parking at this time of year (October)in the street outside the apartment - Matera is an amazing place and it was nice to be in the middl... wat mensen zeggen » e of the Sassi. The owners were friendly and very helpful when it came to changing a booking arrangement. Great breakfast in the restaurant across the road from room.

  Fantastic hosts Nick and Guisy looked after us so well! I cannot fault this place, just excellent! They went out of their way to make sure we saw the best of Matera, dropping and collecting us from the Sassi at anytime. Very clean room and bathroom which was nice and spacious. Nice view over hills from villa. Breakfast lovely!
