This hotel is a lesson many top starred hotels should learn from on how to provide service. Joey and Lorenzo are very helpful, providing personal service and tips on what should be visited. Though missed the brea - What a great little place in a perfect location. The staff is amazing and very helpful. We were first time visitors to Italy. They made us feel welcome and went above and beyond to help us print out tickets etc. Recommended some of the best food we had. The location is tucked away in a coutyard by a church right off of a main street that leads to everything you would want to see in Florence. Would stay there again.

  I have known this 'hotel' for some 25 years. First it was a "locanda"; something lower than a hotel. I had not been there for a decade or more and this time found it had upgraded itself to a 'hotel,' level 3 in the Italian style of rating. I did not notice any appreciable difference with its earlier facilities. We loved the Italian decor of the hotel, but the furniture of the rooms was really essential.
