My colleagues and I have been using it as the "base camp" for our after work walks, as most of Rome's interesting places are at arms length, more so if you enjoy a walk after a long work day. Walking distance to most of the sights. A tram station and bus station is right in front of the building. Across the street are all the restaurants, bars and shops of Trastevere. You don't feel like a tourist, but living like the current Romans do. The building is actually an apartment building. The room was rather big for the center of Rome and newly renovated.   We stayed at the B&B Hotel Roma Trastevere twice during our visit to Italy. Overall, we thought the accommodations provided a lot of value for the money. Our first room was quite small, with a very tiny bathroom, but comfortable overall. The tram to the city center is right outside of the hotel, making it convenient to get to the heart of Rome... wat mensen zeggen » in no time and the Trastevere train station is also a short walk away. We found the staff to be helpful and friendly. There are budget friendly cafes - It´s really close to the Trastevere railway station with the direct connection to the airport which is relatively fast and very comfortable. The hotel is brand new and in modern style, mattresses are perfect and the rooms are cleaned every day. Towels and toilet paper included:) Be aware of the code on the door which you must not forget. The receptionist will write it for you on the card which you have by yourself all the time which is also convenient so you don't ask the staff every time you
