  I had to stay in Rome for two days only and I decided to spend the night there because of the location (close to the Termini Station: buses, metro, trains). I think was the best choice I've made given the price. The room was clean and has it all the basic needs. Another good thing is that you can stay as late as you want. It won't be any problem. Just give them a - It is very close to Termini Station (less than 3 minutes walking). If you are traveling to Ciampino Airport this will be very convinient (buses to Ciampino departs from Termini Station). No need to pay more to stay close to the Colisseum or Vatican City, the Metro will take you there or you can walk, you will have something to spot every two blocks! Tha bathroom was really nice!! clean and big.

  The staff were excellent and very accommodating. They were more than happy to give us extra information including good restaurants to go to and ones to avoid. They were especially considerate of the prices too as we were on a budget as I imagine most people are these days. The location was fantastic too, not even a 5 minute walk from Termini Stati... wat mensen zeggen » on. - Very friendly and helpfull staff. The room was spacious and although the bathroom was not big, it was clean, towels were changed daily and it included everything we needed. Our room was situated next to the street, so we could hear some traffic but not very loud, we had no problem sleeping.

They are charming, friendly, helpful hosts who gave us a wealth of information about Rome. But the best of the place is the owner - Margherita, our lovely host. Very helpful, open-minded, speaking fluently english, french, explaining us everything we need to know: buses, where is the supermarket, where to go to eat, etc. We have felt like visiting an old, good friend in Rome :)

  I was met with an unbelievable warmth from the 2 ladies at the reception. It was like they new me before, even though that was my very first time of staying in Max hotel. I was delighted and grateful, having travelled from long distance and much more in a very wet wet wet weather, such welcome brought me comfort and assurance that I would enjoy my... wat mensen zeggen » stay there, of course, I DID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I used the word unbelievable because I travel to Italy 6 - 8 times in a year and with all honest - When I stayed at Hotel Max they had been open for only three weeks. As a result they worked hard to impress their guests. I paid half price because I was a single guest, but I was given a double room. The flowers I had brought with me were put in a vase for me. The room was beautifully refurbished and the bathroom was new. Breakfast was excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the front desk is open 24 hours a day. I recommend Hotel Max as a great, inexpensive place to stay in a grea
