  In general the room, the staff who was very kind. People often complain about the breakfast but I think it is just fine. It is enough, at least :) Everything was clean, so nothing to say there. And they kept our bags even after we checked out (we checked out in the morning and had a late evening flight). - Location, Location.   Als huwelijksreis reisden wij rond in Italië. Op alle reserveringen hadden we vermeld: Just Married. Bij Hotel Bellettini werden we uitgebreid gefeliciteerd en op de kamer stond champagne koud. Echt geweldig! - Perfect gelegen, op 150 meter van het station en 150 meter van de Duomo. Erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Prima ontbijtbuffet.

  Hotel Elite is a quaint pension house, very conveniently-located about a three-minute walk from the Sta. Maria Novella train station. Around the other corner is the Piazza Sta. Maria Novella. It is within 10-20 minutes walking distance to many of the sites in Florence, including Il Duomo, Accademia Gallery, Piazza della Signoria, etc. Best part of... wat mensen zeggen » Hotel Elite? She encouraged us to go sightseeing on our own (vs. booking tours) and gave us excellent tips about pl - We didn't expect much as it looked simple from the photo but we had pleasant surprise when we check-in. Staff Nardia was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The room is clean and has it's old rustic charm. Nardia marked on tourist map where to visit and how to reach there. She called it "magical map" and truly it was. Although we have to place our luggage to another hotel nearby the next day after check-out, this didn't create any inconvenient as that hotel is nearer to train station.

  The staff members were very helpful and speak good English. Before we even asked they offered us a city map and a list of opening hours of all museums/galleries. It's apparently a family run hotel and the owners're proud of their town. Great location, we could see the Medici Chapel from our window. The noise from the street wouldn't be a problem as the rooms feature three layers of windows, each of them double glazed, very impressive insulatio - Excellent location as it was a 5-10 minute walk to the train station and a nice walking distance to all major attractions. We asked for a room facing the courtyard/cathedral during booking after seeing a review on letsbookhotel.com, and the hotel gave us a room on the top most floor with the best possible view :) Air conditioned room with soundproof windows. Breakfast is definitely worth the money for 5 euros per person. Laundromat and mini supermarket on same street. Good strong wifi.
