  In general the room, the staff who was very kind. People often complain about the breakfast but I think it is just fine. It is enough, at least :) Everything was clean, so nothing to say there. And they kept our bags even after we checked out (we checked out in the morning and had a late evening flight). - Location, Location.   Als huwelijksreis reisden wij rond in Italië. Op alle reserveringen hadden we vermeld: Just Married. Bij Hotel Bellettini werden we uitgebreid gefeliciteerd en op de kamer stond champagne koud.   Hotel Elite is a quaint pension house, very conveniently-located about a three-minute walk from the Sta. Maria Novella train station. Around the other corner is the Piazza Sta. Maria Novella. She encouraged us to go sightseeing on our own (vs. booking tours) and gave us excellent tips about pl - We didn't expect much as it looked simple from the photo but we had pleasant surprise when we check-in. Staff Nardia was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The room is clean and has it's old rustic charm. Nardia marked on tourist map where to visit and how to reach there. She called it "magical map" and truly it was. Although we have to place our luggage to another hotel nearby the next day after check-out, this didn't create any inconvenient as that hotel is nearer to train station.

  The staff members were very helpful and speak good English. Before we even asked they offered us a city map and a list of opening hours of all museums/galleries. It's apparently a family run hotel and the owners're proud of their town. Great location, we could see the Medici Chapel from our window. We asked for a room facing the courtyard/cathedral during booking after seeing a review on letsbookhotel.com, and the hotel gave us a room on the top most floor with the best possible view :) Air conditioned room with soundproof windows. Breakfast is definitely worth the money for 5 euros per person. Laundromat and mini supermarket on same street. Good strong wifi.

  The staffs are very friendly, gave us a map and point out where we should visit even without us asking. The location is excellent, just 2 minutes walk from the main train station. The room we got, room 14, was told to be the best room in the hotel, with a beautiful little balcony that over sees the beautiful Florence town. Over - We travelled as a group of 8 people. The desk personnels were very accommodating to let us get started with the complimentary breakfast earlier than their usual allowing us to get started with our Tuscan tour. The views of the two rooms facing the Doumo was breath-taking. I would go back to this hotel and recommend it.

  As a single female I felt very safe, my room was clean, no view but I don't stay in my room except to shower and sleep. The location was close to the train and bus station, I was able to walk everywhere. There are several good restaurants and pizzerias within 2 blocks. I very much enjoyed my stay. I will stay there again. - The location was fantastic, easy walking distance from the train station and to all major tourist spots. Lots of dining options very close by. And both the central market and the leather market less than 2 minutes away! I asked the desk to change my air conditioning setting so I could make the room nice and comfortable when I returned from my excursions. I would definitely stay here again.
