we had a 3 bed room which was very big for Florence and nicely decorated, big bathroom too. the administrator friendly, he recommended a very nice restaurant( expensive but worth the money) . -
decoration is very nice. personal is very friendly and intimate. room is comfortable, bathroom is also big.

We had a great time at Residenza Gambrinus. Since there was the cycling
world championships during our stay, many streets in the city center
were blocked. The owner of the hotel met us outside the city center and
guided us directly to a central garage where we could leave our car
during the stay. Then he helped us bringing our luggage to the

Arriving at the Residenza, we realized how central the hotel really is -

A perfect location to see Florence as it was in the centre for shopping and sightseeing. Extremely clean with modern fittings and nothing was too much trouble for the host . It was a bit tricky finding the location and bags have to be taken up I flight of stairs in order to reach the lift . The concierge is only there for limited hours.. But none of this worried us as the location and standard of facilities was well worth it .

This B&B is really central, but quiet. It is less than a five minute
walk to the Duomo in one direction and Ponte Vecchio in another. All
major places of interest are within very easy walking distance, as is
the station. Allesandro and Cesare were very helpful and friendly, they
were also happy to book restaurants for us. When we checked in we were
given a map and suggestions of restaurants. The room was very clean and
comfortable and there was a well stocked hospitality tray which was most

Beautiful contemporary design, fabulous service, incredible location, artsy and intimate....what a find. Claudio, Roberta and Sylvia were amazing, they recommended exceptional restaurants, organized tours and taxis and guided you to the must see sites. Free coffee/tea/treats throughout the day...dishware/glassware available to use in room. Fantastic café around the corner with very generous breakfast included. The staff were very friendly and helpful! In most cases when I've asked a hotel for a double bed when we've arrived we got a different room; this is the first hotel in a long time where we had the double bed we asked for! The location is fantastic and you can hardly hear the noise on the street.
