  Perfect location in Muggia, a nice little town outside of Trieste. The owner, Lydia, was very nice and helpful with everything from restaurants to contacts with the police when we got parking fines! Comfortable rooms with a big common terrace. Well worth the money! We have been to Italy many times and I can really recommend Muggia and this little ... wat mensen zeggen » hotel if you want to stay by the coast and don´t want to stay where there are a lot of other tourist and big beaches! - Owners' customer approach is commendable and one of the greatest advantages of the place. Rooms are spacious & double glazed windows help shut out traffic noise. Tip - ask for a room on the first floor as there is no elevator.   Perfect location, near sea and in the very center of old part of the town. Very helpful staff, they let us enter the room before 9:00 am on the first day and kept our luggage until 8:00 pm on the last day. Our room was on the first floor and had excellent Internet signal, while our friend on the 3rd floor had poor signal but still strong enough to... wat mensen zeggen » check e-mail and use Skype chat.   The location seems to be its strongest point as it is close to the bus and train stations (about a ten minute casual walk). It is also near the main sights and very close to the Grand Canal where you can dine at local restaurants for a very reasonable 20 euro or so. The staff are tremendously helpful, all you need to do is to ask them for - Staff were very friendly and helpful, I did not arrive in Trieste until midnight as was delayed en route - despite the inconvenience to them they stayed open for me to check in. Breakfast was excellent, a good choice of breads, savouries and tea/coffee. Great location, only minutes from centre and train station, hotel is on very quiet road. Hotel very clean, including shared bathrooms
