  Merulana Suite 2 is brand new, nice and clean place to stay in. It is very close to Colosseum and metro station. It is run by Pietro and Leonardo with the help of Simona. Very nice people! Pietro greeted us with bottle of wine and some fruits. We had new portion of tasty jellies chocolates every day. Leonardo is good cappuccino maker:) He is als... wat mensen zeggen » o a repository of wisdom according to where to eat:) He gave us very good tips. I surely recommend this place to stay in while visiting Rome. - We booked in here on the recommendation of friends we made in Sorento and we were not disappointed at all. Leonardo was so helpful, when we were at the wrong address, he came and "rescued" us. The room was lovely, beautifully renovated space,fabulous bath. A bottle of wine and slippers to greet us, what a great recommendation. Thanks Charlotte and Mark!!!!!!

  We stayed here for almost 4 days. The Hotel was very nice. The rooms were very spacious and very clean. Our bathroom was neat and clean and the shower was very nice. The staff was helpful and courteous. Location was a major plus point. Its unbelievably close to the Roma Termini and we were easily able to catch a tourist bus (hop on-hop off).   Our rooms were clean and quiet. Beds were comfortable. Coffee and juice and pastry was served, for a simple breakfast. Neighborhood is very nice and a short walk to the train station. The hotel is about a block from Independence Square on a side street with little traffic. The attached trattoria is excellent. The manager was very helpful, calling ... wat mensen zeggen » a cab for us when our own cell phones didn't work. Although a 'basic' hotel, it suited us very well. We would return and/or recommend this hotel to an - Staff is really friendly, helped to us so much. Even gave map and a lot of times showed on it what we must see and how we can walk. Room is so good for this money, its big and all from natural wood. On floor 4 or 5 rooms and 2 bathrooms, it is so comfortable too. Location is so good: nearly railway station, 20 minutes walk to Coliseum.
