  Staff was supersuper friendly, thanks to Armando and Jerry, the guys at the front-desk. They were helping us out with getting familiar with the transportation, sightseeing recommendations, and even with places to go shopping. Very easy to get to the center of Rome; 10 minutes by bus (105) to get to Termini, and the bus stop is right out in front ... wat mensen zeggen » of the hotel. You get to choose between a sweet continental or salty breakfast at the time of your choice, between 8-10 am. Room was cleaned everyday - First I want to mention the Stuff, that were always nice, friendly, willing to answer questions about where to visit, how to reach a certain point, and a 24h service. Secondly the B&B showers and facilities were well cleaned every day. The breakfast was fair and served to the room at the requested hour. For last and maybe most important the B&B was enough close to the historical center, by bus, Metro ( 5 min walk) ,or by foot ( 15 min walk )

Ontbijt vrij uitgebreid. - het personeel was vriendelijk en gedienstig, dit hebben we vooral gemerkt toen we hulp nodig hadden nadat een van ons bestolen was.verder was er nauwelijks (verkeers)lawaai, en we zaten vlakbij Termini,hetgeen makkelijk was met openbaar vervoer.

  All considered, the place was terrific. My girlfriend and I got there late and it was dark out (11:30pm). Conveniently near Roma Termini train station, even with all our luggage it was not a problem getting there on foot [with help such as map or person] quickly. Arriving, the staff was very helpful with one person doing our paperwork and the o... wat mensen zeggen » ther marking a map and telling us about places to visit/eat/nightlife/transport/etc. Walking wasn't an issue for us - about 20min to much of Central - The night person at the front desk was fantastic. He helped us get everywhere we wanted to go in Rome with detailed bus and Metro instructions and hand drawn maps. Our room was quiet and secluded off of a lovely courtyard with plants and a fish pond. Three locked doors between the street and our room made us feel secure. Close to so many things!!! Our breakfast was perfect with yogurt, pastries and great coffee. Ham and cheese also available. Many low cost food options nearby.

  I was met with an unbelievable warmth from the 2 ladies at the reception. It was like they new me before, even though that was my very first time of staying in Max hotel. I used the word unbelievable because I travel to Italy 6 - 8 times in a year and with all honest - When I stayed at Hotel Max they had been open for only three weeks. As a result they worked hard to impress their guests. I paid half price because I was a single guest, but I was given a double room. The flowers I had brought with me were put in a vase for me. The room was beautifully refurbished and the bathroom was new. Breakfast was excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the front desk is open 24 hours a day. I recommend Hotel Max as a great, inexpensive place to stay in a grea
