  Gianluca was the perfect host and went out of his way to take care of our every need. We were three sisters who had never been to Rome and had no idea what to expect. All of Gianluca's recommendations on sightseeing and restaurants were spot on. We beat the never ending line into the Coliseum and ate at a charming restaurant in Traverse area thank... wat mensen zeggen » s to Gianluca's guidance. The map he marked out for us was invaluable. Rooms were comfortable and modern, while the building had the "newer" old world - Gianluca is the perfect host. Very polite, smiling all the time, great sense of humor and gets out of his way to make your stay better. Oh! And it's really important to mention that he knows the city very well and has the best tips ever.   We stayed at Relais De L'Opera for our honeymoon in Rome and it was an excellent choice. We were contacted in advance and offered various options for a transfer to the hotel from the airport, and chose a private driver who was there and waiting for us. What a lovely gesture! The room was be - We are highly reccomend this hotel for the visitors. There all neccessary things for the rest and wonderful passtime. Good location on a quiet street, adjacent to one of the main street of the city, allows to get quickly to the all historical areas and of Rome.   What did I not like!!! This boutique hotel was amazing. I am definitely much more accustomed to the big fancy American chains (Marriott, Hilton etc.) but this place was perfect. Our room was incredibly large for European standards with a table and chairs and a sofa which was used and an extremely comfortable 3rd bed. The room was even equipped wit... wat mensen zeggen » h a computer which we loved. This hotel is small, but that adds to the charm. There is a lift, however, I enjoyed taking the spiral staircase. The ter - Residenza Torre Colonna was incredible - the facility itself is totally unique, the location is terrific, and the people are all wonderful! We could not have imagined a better experience. After we had checked out and discovered we had a flat tire on our car, we had difficultly communicating (on a Saturday afternoon) with anyone who could help us. We were told we would have to wait until Monday for any service. Totally frustrated, we went back to Residenza Torre Colonna to see if they had any su
