I had not been there for a decade or more and this time found it had upgraded itself to a 'hotel,' level 3 in the Italian style of rating.   Being south of the Arno, the prices of food, goods , etc seemed slightly lower. The staff could not have been any nicer, wormer, more friendly. Really strove to make our stay as enjoyable as possible! - The staff, the room, the location - everything about it. it's my new favorite place in Florence.

  It was only about a 10 minute walk from the Florence train station. Hotel was easy to find & has an elevator to the 3rd floor. We had a large room that did not have any street noise. The rooms are furnished with Ikea type furniture - sort of stark. We had windows that opened. We didn't need heating or cooling when we were there. Staff made reservations for us one night at a local place of sinful gluttony called Il Latini - We were very welcome by the whole staff, mainly by Gina, the owner. They were kind in managing to give us a calm room, exactly as we had asked in the site. Modern decoration, silent air-conditioning, comfortable bed, convinent location and delicious breakfast. During our stay, my boyfriend celebrated his b-day. Imagine our surprise when we arrived at breakfast room and found Gina with a millefoglie cake and champagne for us both! I would defintely recommend this hotel for anyone. Can´t wait to

  The location was amazing,u won't get lost, very close to main train station and a plaza,staff was excellent,we found out we booked the wrong date,and we went there in the morning in the same day,the staff offered to change the date for us and just added extra charge for the weekend,she allowed us to check in even tho we didn't stay there that day.... wat mensen zeggen » - The best thing I like was location very close to city centre and bus, railway station. Staff lady at desk was very helpful. Breakfast was in nearby restaurant and was ok even though not filling. Family room is spacious.WiFi was working well at all times. I will definitely suggest this hotel anyone visiting Florence.
