  Guilia Townhouse is a great place to stay when visiting Rome. It is literally right in the middle of everything. We walked everywhere and appreciated how easy it was to cross the river and dine in The Travestere neighborhood in the evenings. The townhouse itself is beautiful and restful. The bath and shower were modern and spotless. The breakfast was delic - A very personal hotel with "family feeling". Excellent location; perfect to be able to walk to all sights in the day and then just cross the bridge to have dinner in Trastevere in the evening. Very friendly people that were both very welcoming, helpful and keen to make sure we had a nice stay. One thing we really appreciated who travelled in December is also the heating and comfort of the place. I've been staying in many places in Italy where it's been cold inside in that time of the year.   The hotel was located central to all the sights of Rome that we were interested in visiting: Spanish steps, Palantine Hill, Colosseum, etc. There was a never ending source of restaurants, cafes, shops around the hotel. We were a five-minute walk to the Metro which made it convenient for us to get to with all our luggage. The decor was very rustic and the furniture was dark - We loved this little hotel - the bathroom was large (for European standards). All of the employees we dealt with where quite friendly and very helpful. We would definitely recommend this hotel as we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to visit - the Vatican, Pantheon, Piazza Navona, Coliseum, Trevi fountain and Spanish Steps.

  The location is fantabiolous!! Without a doubt everything is a walking distance. You'll never need to ride the metro except for the Vatican and maybe the Colessium. The rest is just around the corner. The toilets are very clean and although the towels look like table sheets and also feels like one, they do a great job.

We were concerned about the noise from the streets but the rooms had double windows that shut any noise down! Curiously enough it was Halloween and we wanted to hear the noise from the street below when we got home! Lovely stay! Thank you Cinzia!   We had the campo de fiori apartment and loved the location! Upon arrival we were greeted and also given a quick but thorough rundown of the city and the best places to eat, attractions and their distances to our location which was a great way to start our planning! As the apartment didn't have lifts, the bags were taken up for us. The apartment... wat mensen zeggen » was perfect and we had a terrace all to ourselves where we enjoyed a drink in the evening. There are two bedrooms and our girls stayed in the upstai - We stayed in one of their apartments which was fantastic. Two bathrooms, kitchen, sitting room and loft bedroom. There was a well stocked grocery store close by. The apartment was close to public transportation to different parts of the city and within walking distance of Trastevere and Campo di Fiori, as well as good restaurants. Staff was helpful. We arrived late in the evening and a staff person was waiting at the apartment to check us in. They made arrangements for us to be picked up at the
