  We wanted a quality hotel with a view having driven down from Tuscany to Reggio Calabria, somewhere to relax before taking the ferry to Sicily the next day. The hotel has beautiful view of the Straits of Messina and Sicily, with a lovely roof terrace and restaurant. Our room had a small balcony with much the same views and was perfectly fitted o... wat mensen zeggen » ut for our comfort. Whilst there did appear to be a menu for dinner, using this was not encouraged, and our waiter brought round a trolley of fish an - We were impressed with the courtesy and helpfulness of the staff. Our room was very spacious, comfortable and quiet with a sea view. The breakfasts (included in the price) were excellent. The food in the restaurant was also good. We would book this hotel again on a return visit to Reggio Calabria and recommend it to our friends. Also the location of the hotel is very convenient for those without a car: it is within walking distance to the Lido station, to the port for the ferry to Messina an
