  Loved staying here - would go back again in a heartbeat. Andrea, the owner goes the extra mile. The reviews are true about this man - just lovely. A real authentic experience. Great location - far enough from the crowds, but walkable to everywhere. We loved Venice and staying here was a large part of the reason we loved it so much. It felt like a ... wat mensen zeggen » home stay. We stayed in the family apartment - so much space with a rooftop terrace and a balcony over looking a canal. Beautiful. We have now been tr - The location is great, next to 2 vaporetto stops, Ca'dÓro and F.te Nove (you can get to the airport easily from the latter), and yet it is not in a crowded, touristy location. The place is very unusual - in the 2 days we were there, we saw an exhibition of photographs / textiles in the entrance (as part of the Venice Biennale), and we also witnessed a dance (tango!) in the main hall. Andrea is a good host and very helpful.
